A trusted partner in recovery care
Discreet, flexible, and shaped by experience
Whether on a short-term or long-term basis, our partnerships are discreet, flexible, and shaped by decades of hands-on experience in admissions, client communication, and recovery support.
The Zenit Room brings a unique perspective, having worked within both one of Europe's largest residential treatment centres and exclusive boutique clinics in Switzerland. This dual insight allows us to adapt quickly to the culture and needs of your facility, and your clients.

What we offer
Flexible collaboration across the client journey
The Steadfast Programme
A discreet, structured and personalised pre-admission service for individuals and families who are not yet ready to accept help, delivered over 3 to 10 days. It helps reduce resistance, strengthen communication and prepare a well-considered next step, which may be admission to your treatment centre. It does not provide therapy, diagnosis, clinical treatment or medical care. Read about the programme
Programme development for clinics, specialised in pre-treatment
We develop programmes with clinics, with a specialisation in pre-treatment.
Admission Management & Pre Screening
When a person or relative reaches out, often in a life crisis, we answer calmly and discreetly:
- We speak with the person or family.
- We go through the situation in a structured way.
- We help identify which type of care may fit.
- We prepare a clear summary for your admissions team.
- We hand over to your team, who assess and decide on admission.
- We follow up with the person after admission.
Information is shared only with written consent.
Client & Family Liaison Services
We are the point of contact between your clinic, the client and the family. We keep the family informed about the practical matters your team agrees to share, answer their questions where we can, and pass the rest on to your team. Clinical information is shared only with the written consent of the client.
Recovery Counselling / Coaching
Offered only when it is the assignment itself. We work with the client, on site or remotely, in harmony with your therapeutic model, and we can join at any point in the process.
We begin by learning how your clinical team works. Where you have a medical team, we look at your procedures and processes, your treatment programmes and how clinical and medical staff work together. Then we work within your model, and we refer to your clinical team for anything beyond our training.
High-Profile Case Coordination
For clients in the public eye or in complex circumstances, we coordinate the sensitive logistics and communication around admission and transitions. The client has one discreet point of contact. Details are shared only with the people the client has agreed to in writing.
After Care & Discharge Planning
We develop personalised, realistic discharge plans to support clients post-treatment, in collaboration with your team.
Four ways we work with a clinic
Every assignment has one clearly defined role. We do what the role says, and we do not duplicate what your own team already does well.
Client relations and admission management
We are your first point of contact, and we carry the case from first enquiry to discharge. We do not provide counselling or treatment. Your clinical team does that.
Depending on the assignment, this can include:
- Screening, admission management and case management.
- Liaison between the clinic, the client and the family.
- A review of how enquiries, admissions and handovers are handled today, with a focus on safety and confidentiality for the client and for the clinic.
- A review of your administrative routines around admission.
- Training for your team in how to support clients in committing to treatment. We work ethically and put the client first. We never pressure or manipulate.
On a shorter assignment, we train your own staff to carry the work forward. On a longer assignment, we hold the role for as long as it runs.
We bring multiple years of experience across all four roles.
Our work is grounded in lived experience, which helps us meet each client where they are emotionally.
Intervention
The Zenit Room’s own intervention programme. It is built on compassion, not on surprise or pressure as in the traditional Johnson-model intervention.
It is a discreet, structured and personalised pre-admission service for individuals and families who are not yet ready to accept help, delivered over 3 to 10 days. It does not provide therapy, diagnosis, clinical treatment or medical care.
It can be added to a client relations assignment, or be the assignment itself.
Programme development and training
We adapt an intervention programme to your clinic and train the people who will deliver it.
High-profile cases are coordinated discreetly within any of these roles.
How a collaboration works
Step by step, shaped around your clinic
We step in where we add value, short-term or long-term. Use all of the steps or only the ones your team needs.
Start with a conversation
Book a free consultation by phone, email or the contact form. Tell us what your team needs and which role you would like us to take. Together, we agree one clear role for the assignment.
A CV and references are shared after first contact.
Prepare before admission
Structured screening and referral pathways and, where it fits, the intervention programme for clients and families who are not yet ready to accept help. If you wish, we first review your enquiry and admission processes.
Coordinate the admission
Admission management and coordination, with liaison between the clinic, the client and the family.
Support during care
Case management, family liaison during the stay, and discreet coordination for high-profile cases.
Plan what comes after
Personalised discharge planning in collaboration with your team.
Recovery counselling / coaching is offered only when it is the assignment itself, and it can take place at any step. Programme development and training is its own assignment, not a step in a placement.
A separately arranged, time-limited pre-admission service
The Steadfast Programme
It can be added to a client relations assignment, or be the assignment itself.
- 3 to 10 daysTime-limited, depending on the situation
- Six phasesPaced to readiness, family dynamics and cultural context
- Remote or on siteRemote consultations, one-to-one engagement, family meetings and, when required, on-site support
The programme in six phases
From a first conversation to a well-prepared next step
Family Insight and Guidance
Creating clarity in a difficult situation. We begin by listening carefully to the concerns of the individual, family or referring professional. The specialist explores immediate challenges, relevant circumstances and previous attempts to help, establishing a calm, structured foundation.
Relationship Mapping and Readiness
Understanding what may be preventing change. We explore important relationships, patterns of communication and potential barriers to engagement. This helps us understand the individual’s readiness and identify constructive opportunities for progress.
Family Alliance and Strategy
Helping everyone move in the same direction.Families often share the same concerns but respond differently. We help establish a consistent, supportive approach, clarify roles and responsibilities and encourage healthy boundaries and effective communication.
Direct Client Contact
Building trust without confrontation. When appropriate, a specialist engages directly with the individual, preferably through private one-to-one conversations. A carefully structured joint family conversation may be considered when appropriate. Engagement is paced, respectful and without coercion.
Transition to Treatment
From willingness to a well-prepared next step. When the individual is ready to explore treatment, the specialist supports the next steps. If admission to a treatment centre is appropriate, this can include planned coordination with the relevant medical and clinical professionals for assessment and admission preparation.
Family Follow-Up and Continuity of Care
Guidance beyond the initial decision.Where treatment follows, the specialist helps the family navigate the initial transition. Where treatment does not follow, guidance focuses on preserving stability, improving communication and keeping appropriate options open.
